Battery will not charge, charger LED flashes red or E6 appears on the vacuum display when docked.

Safety first: Unplug the charger from the wall before inspecting. Do not attempt to open the battery pack or charger casing.

• Step 1 – Allow battery to cool: If the vacuum or battery feels warm after use, let it cool at room temperature for at least 1 hour before attempting to charge again.
• Step 2 – Inspect charging contacts: Check the metal contacts on the battery and dock for dirt or corrosion. Clean gently with a dry cloth. Ensure the battery clicks firmly into place.
• Step 3 – Try a different outlet: Plug the Princess charger into a known‑good wall socket (avoid extension leads or power strips) and check that the charger LED behaves as described in the manual.
• Step 4 – Test charger output: Use a multimeter to verify the charger’s DC output voltage. If there is no output or it is far from the rated value, replace the charger or dock with a genuine Princess unit.
• Step 5 – Evaluate the battery: If the charger is good but E6 persists, the battery’s internal BMS or temperature sensor may be faulty. Replace the battery pack with the correct Princess replacement for your model.
• Step 6 – Seek service if unresolved: If a new battery and charger still show E6, the charging control circuit in the vacuum body or dock is defective and should be repaired by a technician.
