Vacuum display shows E7 and the unit will not start; sometimes accompanied by a beeping pattern when pressing the power button.

Safety first: Remove the battery and keep the vacuum disconnected from any charger. Do not open the main body if your model is still under warranty; this may void coverage.

• Step 1 – Power reset: Remove the battery for at least 5 minutes. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds (with battery removed) to discharge residual power. Reinsert the battery and test.
• Step 2 – Inspect for moisture or damage: Check the handle and body for signs of liquid spills, cracks, or impact damage. If the vacuum was used to pick up liquids, internal corrosion may have occurred.
• Step 3 – Check external connections: Ensure the battery is fully seated and that any detachable handle or wand electrical connectors are clean and undamaged.
• Step 4 – Internal inspection (advanced users): If out of warranty and comfortable with electronics, carefully open the main body housing following a service guide. Inspect the control PCB for burnt components, corrosion, or loose connectors. Reseat all plugs firmly.
• Step 5 – Replace control PCB: If visible damage is present or E7 persists after reseating connectors, replace the main control PCB with the exact Princess spare part for your model. Transfer any rubber mounts or shields from the old board.
• Step 6 – Professional repair: If you are not experienced with electronics, contact a Princess service center to diagnose and replace the control board safely.
