Step 2 – Inspect squeegee/strip: Look for a rubber or felt strip at the front or rear of the nozzle. If torn or missing, replace the nozzle base or strip.
Step 3 – Examine brushroll bristles: If bristles are worn very short or uneven, replace the brushroll.
Step 4 – Adjust technique: Use slower passes and overlap strokes, especially on carpets.
