Dust bin door will not latch closed, causing loss of suction and dust leakage

Safety: Remove the battery before working on the bin.

• Clean latch area: Remove any dust or debris around the latch and hinge.
• Inspect latch and hinge: Check for cracked plastic or bent parts. If the latch hook is broken, the bin must be replaced.
• Check gasket: Inspect the rubber seal around the bin door. Replace if torn or flattened.
• Replace bin assembly: If the door is warped or latch is broken, install a new genuine Progress dust bin assembly.
