Possible Causes
Clogged pre-motor filter, HEPA filter saturated, Filter missing or not seated, Use of non-genuine filter with poor airflow
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Remove the battery before handling filters.
- Check filter installation: Remove and reinstall the pre-motor and HEPA filters, ensuring they are oriented and seated exactly as shown in the Progress manual. Misaligned filters can trigger E13.
- Clean filters: Tap filters gently to remove dust. If washable, rinse with lukewarm water only and allow to dry completely before reinstalling.
- Replace worn filters: If filters are torn, deformed, or older than the recommended interval, replace them with genuine Progress filter sets to ensure correct airflow and sensor readings.
- Reset filter indicator (if applicable): Some models require holding a specific button combination to reset the filter alarm after replacement. Refer to the user manual for the exact procedure.
