Vacuum shows E18 and emits a beeping tone; occurs when using certain accessories

Safety: Remove the battery before cleaning contacts.

• Verify accessory compatibility: Ensure the motorized tool or nozzle is designed for your specific Progress cordless model. Using older or different-series tools can trigger E18.
• Clean contacts: Wipe the electrical contacts on both the accessory and the vacuum/wand with a dry cloth.
• Test with another accessory: If other motorized tools work without E18, the problematic accessory likely has a failed ID component and should be replaced.
• Main PCB check: If E18 appears with all accessories, the accessory detection circuit on the main PCB may be faulty and require professional replacement.
