How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Use only genuine Progress batteries and chargers.
- Verify full charge: Charge the battery until the charger indicates full. Leave it on the charger for an additional 30–60 minutes to ensure cell balancing.
- Test on low power: Run the vacuum on the lowest power setting and time the runtime. If it is still very short, the battery capacity is likely degraded.
- Check charger performance: If possible, test the battery on another Progress charger to rule out a weak charger.
- Replace the battery: Purchase a new genuine Progress battery pack. Old packs with significantly reduced runtime are not repairable.
