Possible Causes

Aged battery with high internal resistance, Partially shorted motor drawing excessive current, Loose internal power connections, Faulty current-sense resistor on main board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off the vacuum and remove the battery before opening any covers.

  • Test in lower modes: Run the vacuum in ECO/Normal mode. If it runs normally but fails only in MAX, the battery may be too weak to support high current.
  • Fully charge the battery: Charge the battery until the indicator shows full. Then immediately test MAX mode. If E6 still appears quickly, the battery pack is likely degraded.
  • Inspect for heat and smell: If the motor area becomes very hot or there is a burning smell when switching to MAX, stop using the vacuum. The motor may be partially shorted and should be replaced.
  • Check battery contacts: Ensure the battery fits tightly with no wobble. Loose contacts can cause voltage drops under load.
  • Replace suspect components: If a new battery does not resolve the issue, the motor assembly or main PCB current-sense circuit may be defective and require replacement.
