Possible Causes

Poor electrical connection between handle and wand, Bent or recessed wand connector pins, Broken wire inside wand, Faulty accessory recognition circuit on main PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Remove the battery before inspecting electrical connectors.

  • Disconnect and reconnect wand: Remove the wand from the main body and floor head. Inspect both ends for dust or debris and clean with a dry cloth. Reconnect firmly until you hear a click.
  • Inspect connector pins: Look for bent, pushed-in, or corroded pins on the handle and wand connectors. Gently straighten slightly bent pins with plastic tweezers; do not use metal tools that can short pins.
  • Test with another attachment: Connect a different powered attachment (if available). If that works, the original floor head or tool is faulty. If none work, the wand or handle connection is suspect.
  • Check for play in the wand: If the wand feels loose or wobbly, the internal wiring may be broken. Replace the wand assembly.
  • If E7 persists: The accessory recognition or power distribution circuit on the main PCB may be defective and require replacement.
