Possible Causes
Severely clogged HEPA filter, Blocked air outlet grill, Dust sensor or airflow sensor malfunction on main PCB, Incorrectly installed dust bin or cyclone
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the vacuum and remove the battery before cleaning filters.
- Check dust bin installation: Remove the dust bin and reinstall it carefully, ensuring all latches click into place and seals are aligned.
- Clean or replace HEPA filter: Remove the rear/HEPA filter. Tap off dust and, if the manual allows, rinse with water and let it dry completely. If the filter is heavily discolored or damaged, replace it with a genuine Proscenic HEPA filter.
- Inspect air outlet grill: Check the exhaust vents at the rear or side of the vacuum for lint or dust mats. Clean with a soft brush.
- Reset the unit: With the battery removed, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds. Reinstall the battery and test again.
- If E9 persists with clean filters: The airflow or dust sensor on the main PCB may be faulty. This typically requires replacement of the main control board.
