Possible Causes
Loose internal wiring harness, Partially broken wire in wand, Oxidized connector between handle and wand, Failing main PCB voltage regulator
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before inspecting connectors or wiring.
- Check external connections: Disconnect and reconnect the wand and floor head several times to clean the contacts. Ensure each connection clicks firmly.
- Inspect for visible damage: Look along the wand and at the handle base for cracks or pinch points where wires could be damaged.
- Test without wand: If your model allows, connect the floor head directly to the handle. If the problem disappears, the wand wiring is likely faulty and should be replaced.
- Observe behavior: If the entire vacuum shuts down or the display dims when the headlight flickers, the main PCB power regulator may be failing and should be replaced.
