Possible Causes

Corrupted firmware, Loose internal connector between display board and main PCB, Electrical noise from failing motor, Defective microcontroller on main PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Remove the battery before opening any covers.

  • Battery reset: Remove the battery for 2–3 minutes, then reinstall and test again.
  • Check for app updates: If your Proscenic vacuum connects to an app, check for firmware updates and apply them according to the instructions.
  • Inspect for vibration-related cutouts: If the vacuum shuts off when bumped or when you move the handle, an internal connector may be loose. Gently tap the handle while running; if it cuts out, internal inspection and reseating of connectors is needed.
  • If F4 persists after updates and resets: The main PCB is likely defective and should be replaced as a complete assembly.
