Vacuum emits a musty or unpleasant odor during use

Safety first: Remove the battery before cleaning. Do not use harsh chemicals inside the vacuum.

• Empty and wash bin: Remove the dust bin and wash it with mild soap and water if allowed by the manual. Dry completely before reinstalling.
• Clean or replace filters: Wash washable filters and let them dry for at least 24 hours. Replace non-washable filters that smell bad.
• Clean cyclone: Use a dry brush to remove trapped hair and dust from the cyclone assembly.
• Prevent recurrence: Empty the bin after each use and clean filters regularly, especially when vacuuming pet hair.
