Possible Causes
Broken trigger lock button, Worn latch spring, Debris under trigger preventing full travel, Faulty trigger switch on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before working near the trigger or handle.
- Clean around trigger: Use a dry brush or compressed air to remove dust and debris around the trigger and lock button.
- Test lock function: Engage and disengage the lock button several times to free any sticking parts.
- Check trigger feel: If the trigger feels loose or does not return properly, the internal spring or latch may be broken and the handle assembly should be replaced.
- If electronic lock fails: On models with electronic trigger lock, a faulty switch or PCB may be the cause and will require replacement of the handle/control board.
