Possible Causes
Main floor brush jammed with hair or debris, Main brush motor overloaded, Brush roller bearings seized, Floor head air path severely blocked
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the vacuum OFF and remove the battery pack or disconnect the charger before working on the brush head.
- Flip the floor head over and remove the brush roller cover (usually a latch or a coin-slot screw on Roidmi heads).
- Pull out the main brush roller and cut away hair, threads, and fibers from both the roller and end caps. Check that the roller spins freely by hand.
- Inspect the side bearings and end caps for melted plastic or rust. Clean with a dry cloth; do not use water on the motor area.
- Check the suction channel in the floor head for blockages (coins, Lego pieces, gravel). Remove any obstructions.
- Reinstall the brush roller, ensuring the drive end is fully seated in the motor coupling.
- Reattach the cover, reinstall the battery, and test on a hard floor first. If E1 returns immediately, the brush motor may be failing and the complete motorized floor head should be replaced.
