Possible Causes
Dust bin full and restricting airflow, Cyclone assembly clogged, HEPA/post-motor filter blocked, Cooling vents on motor housing obstructed
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Power off the unit and remove the battery before cleaning.
- Empty the dust bin completely. On most Roidmi cordless models, press the bin release button and dump contents into a trash bag.
- Remove the cyclone assembly and tap it gently inside a trash can to dislodge fine dust. Use a soft brush to clean the cyclone fins.
- Remove the HEPA or high-efficiency filter (usually at the rear or top of the dust bin). Tap it gently to remove dust. If the manual allows, rinse the filter with cold water only and let it dry for at least 24 hours before reinstalling.
- Inspect the air inlet and outlet vents around the motor housing for lint buildup and clean with a dry brush.
- Allow the vacuum to cool for 30–60 minutes before testing again. If E2 reappears with clean filters and good airflow, the main motor assembly may be failing and should be replaced.
