Possible Causes
Battery pack voltage out of safe range, Faulty battery management system, Incorrect or damaged charger, High ambient temperature during charging
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the charger from the wall before inspecting.
- Check that you are using the original Roidmi power adapter or an approved replacement with the correct voltage and current rating.
- Inspect the charger cable and plug for cuts, kinks, or burn marks. Replace the charger/power adapter if damaged.
- Ensure the charging contacts on the wall mount or handle are clean and free of oxidation. Wipe with a dry cloth.
- Move the charger and vacuum to a cool, dry room (10–30°C) and let the battery rest for 30 minutes, then try charging again.
- If E5 persists and the battery will not accept charge, the internal BMS has likely locked out the pack. Replace the complete battery pack; do not attempt to open or repair the pack.
