Possible Causes
Blocked airflow causing motor strain, Failing battery cells generating heat, Continuous use on MAX power, Dirty filters increasing load
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Stop using the vacuum and remove the battery. Allow it to cool completely.
- Perform a full cleaning of bin, cyclone, and filters to restore airflow.
- Use lower power modes for routine cleaning; reserve MAX for short bursts.
- If the battery itself is hot while the motor area is only warm, the battery may be failing; replace the battery pack.
- If the motor housing is extremely hot and there is a burning smell, the main motor assembly may be failing and should be replaced.
