Possible Causes
Clogged filters, Blocked wand or hose, Air leak at dust bin seal, Damaged or missing rubber gaskets
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF and remove the battery before inspecting internal seals.
- Check for blockages: Detach the floor head, wand, and any hoses. Look through each part and remove any obstructions.
- Clean filters: Remove and clean the pre‑motor and post‑motor filters as per the manual. Ensure they are completely dry before refitting.
- Inspect bin seals: Examine the rubber gasket around the dust bin and where it mates to the cyclone or body. Look for cracks, deformation, or missing sections.
- Check joints: Assemble the vacuum and run your hand around joints while it is running (battery installed) to feel for escaping air. A strong leak indicates a bad seal.
- Replace worn seals: If gaskets are flattened or torn, replace the dust bin or gasket set with genuine Rowenta parts.
