Possible Causes

Cyclone separator clogged with fine dust, Blocked inlet grill at dust bin, Obstruction in flexible hose or wand, Filter installed incorrectly

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF and remove the battery before disassembling the air path.

  • Remove and inspect cyclone: Take out the cyclone assembly from the dust bin. Check the small cyclone holes and mesh for packed dust. Use a soft brush to clean thoroughly.
  • Check inlet grill: Look at the grill where air enters the cyclone from the bin. Remove any clumps of dust or hair.
  • Inspect hose and wand: Detach the wand and any flexible hoses. Look through them and push out any blockages with a long, blunt object (like a wooden dowel). Do not use sharp tools.
  • Verify filter placement: Ensure the pre‑motor filter is seated correctly and not folded or misaligned, which can restrict airflow.
  • Reassemble and test: After cleaning, reassemble all parts and test on low power first. If F4 persists, there may be a hidden blockage near the motor inlet that requires professional service.
