Possible Causes
Hair wrapped around brush roll ends, Broken or stretched drive belt (on belt‑driven heads), Failed brush motor, Faulty brush head PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF and remove the battery before working on the brush head.
- Remove brush head: Detach the head and open the access cover. Remove the brush roll.
- Clean brush roll: Cut away hair and fibers from the bristles and end caps. Ensure the roll spins freely by hand.
- Inspect belt (if present): Check the belt for cracks, glazing, or stretching. Replace if loose or broken using a Rowenta‑specified belt.
- Check motor function: With the head reattached and battery installed, briefly run the vacuum while carefully observing the motor shaft (if visible). If the motor does not turn, it may be faulty.
- Replace head if needed: If cleaning and belt replacement do not restore operation, replace the complete motorized floor head assembly.
