Dust escapes from around the bin area during use

Safety first: Turn off and remove the battery.

Seal inspection:

• Remove the dust bin and inspect the rubber gasket around its rim and the mating surface on the main body.
• Look for tears, flattening, or hardened rubber. Replace the gasket or bin assembly if damaged.
• Check for cracks in the bin or cyclone housing; replace the assembly if any are found.
• Ensure the bin is fully latched when reinstalled; you should hear a positive click.

Warning: Operating with a leaking bin can allow dust into the motor compartment and shorten motor life.
