Possible Causes
Partially blocked filters increasing load, Worn main motor drawing excess current, Weak battery unable to supply peak current, Faulty power mode control circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Power off and remove the battery.
Reduce load and test:
- Clean or replace all filters thoroughly. Ensure the cyclone and airways are completely clear.
- Fully charge the battery on the original charger until the indicator shows 100%.
- Refit the battery and test MAX/Turbo mode with the wand and floorhead removed (run the main body only). If MAX works without attachments but fails when the floorhead is connected, the floorhead or wand may be adding too much load.
- If E8 occurs even with no attachments, the main motor or battery pack may be failing. Try another compatible battery if available.
- Persistent E8 with a good battery and clear airflow usually indicates a failing motor or control PCB, which should be replaced by a professional.
Warning: Avoid holding MAX mode continuously for long periods on older batteries; this accelerates wear and can trigger protection.
