Cyclone Blockage / Filter Loading During Use
Vacuum loses suction after a few minutes but recovers after being turned off for a while
Advertisements
Possible Causes
Fine dust clogging cyclone shroud, Overfilled dust bin, Filter becoming saturated with dust quickly, Using vacuum on plaster or fine powders
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off and remove the battery.
Restore performance:
- Empty the dust bin before it reaches the MAX line, especially when vacuuming fine dust.
- Remove and thoroughly clean the cyclone shroud and mesh. Use a soft brush to remove fine dust.
- Clean or replace the pre-motor filter more frequently when vacuuming fine particles.
- Avoid using the vacuum as a construction cleanup tool; fine plaster dust can quickly clog the system and damage the motor.
Warning: Operating with a heavily clogged cyclone can overheat the motor and trigger thermal cut-out.
