Vacuum makes a clicking or popping noise from the battery area during use

Safety first: Turn off and remove the battery.

Secure connection:

• Inspect the battery latch mechanism and ensure it locks firmly when installed.
• Clean the battery contacts and mating contacts on the vacuum with a dry cloth.
• Check the battery casing for cracks or deformation; replace the battery if damaged.
• Reinstall the battery until it clicks securely and test. If noise persists and power cuts out intermittently, replace the battery pack.

Warning: Do not wedge objects around the battery to tighten the fit; this can stress the housing and contacts.
