Possible Causes
Clogged pre-motor filter, Blocked cyclonic separator, Air leak at dust bin seal, Cracked internal suction tube
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before disassembly.
- Empty and clean bin: Remove and empty the dust bin. Rinse if allowed by the manual and let dry completely.
- Clean filters: Remove pre-motor and post-motor filters. Tap out dust and wash if permitted. Allow to dry 24 hours.
- Inspect seals: Check the rubber gasket where the bin meets the main body. Replace if torn, flattened, or missing.
- Check for cracks: Examine the internal plastic tubes and bin for cracks that could cause air leaks. Replace damaged parts.
After restoring airflow and seals, suction should return to normal. If not, the motor may be worn and producing less vacuum.
