Possible Causes
Engaged trigger lock mechanism, Faulty trigger lock switch, Misaligned handle safety interlock, Broken trigger return spring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before manipulating the trigger mechanism.
- Disengage lock: Ensure any trigger lock or safety slider is in the unlocked position. Move it back and forth several times to free it.
- Check trigger movement: The trigger should move smoothly and return when released. If it sticks, debris may be inside the handle.
- Clean around trigger: Use compressed air to blow out dust from around the trigger and lock slider.
- Test with battery: Reinstall the battery and test. If the lock icon remains and the trigger feels normal, the internal lock switch may be faulty.
Internal trigger lock switch failures require opening the handle and replacing the switch assembly, best done by a technician.
