Possible Causes
Overheating motor, Blocked airflow through filters, Failing control PCB, Loose internal connector to motor or battery terminals
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before any disassembly.
- Allow cooling: Let the vacuum sit for 30–45 minutes with the dust bin removed to cool the motor.
- Clean filters and vents: Remove and clean the pre-motor and post-motor filters. Check all air vents around the motor housing and clear dust buildup.
- Inspect connectors (advanced users): If comfortable, remove the housing screws to access the control board area. Check that all plug connectors are fully seated. Do not pull on wires; pull on the plastic connectors.
- Test operation: Reassemble, insert a fully charged battery, and test. If the vacuum still requires battery removal to reset frequently, the control board is likely failing.
Repeated lockups after cleaning and cooling indicate a defective control PCB; replacement is recommended via an authorized service center.
