Possible Causes
Dust bin not correctly latched, Full-bin sensor blocked by debris, Faulty bin presence microswitch, Warped or cracked dust bin preventing proper seal
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before adjusting the dust bin.
- Empty and clean bin: Remove the dust bin, empty it, and wipe the interior and exterior, especially around any sensor windows or magnets.
- Check bin latch: Inspect the latch mechanism for damage. Ensure it clicks firmly when reattached to the main body.
- Inspect bin sensor: Look for a small switch, magnet, or optical sensor where the bin meets the body. Clean gently with a dry cloth.
- Test fit: Reinstall the bin, making sure it is fully seated and locked. Gently tug to confirm it does not move.
If the bin icon remains and the vacuum will not run, the bin sensor or microswitch may be defective and should be replaced.
