Safety first: Remove the battery pack before inspection.

Confirm full charge:

Charge the battery until the charger indicates full. Leave it on the charger for an extra 30–60 minutes to ensure cell balancing.

Usage adjustments:

Test run time on the lowest power setting only. If run time is acceptable on low but very short on boost, this is normal behaviour for a worn battery.

If run time is still very short on low power, the battery has reached end of life. Replace the complete Salter lithium‑ion battery pack.

Vacuum runs for only a few minutes on a full charge before shutting off (no specific error code).
