Possible Causes
Clogged airflow causing motor overload, Shorted motor windings, Damaged battery pack BMS, Blocked brush head causing high current draw
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery before clearing any blockages.
- Check for clogs: Remove the dustbin, filters, and extension pipe. Look through the wand and inlet for blockages (hair, debris, large objects). Clear all obstructions.
- Inspect the brush head: Remove the brush roll from the motorized floor head. Cut away hair and threads from the roller and end caps. Ensure the roller spins freely by hand.
- Test without accessories: Install the battery and run the vacuum with no wand or brush head attached. If it runs normally, the issue is in the attachment (wand or head).
- Try a different battery (if available): If the same C02 appears with a different battery, the motor or main PCB may be drawing excessive current.
- If overcurrent persists: Do not continue to run the unit. Contact a Samsung technician to test the motor assembly and main PCB for shorts.
