Possible Causes

Hair or string wrapped around brush roll, Jammed brush bearings, Shorted brush motor, Damaged brush head PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery before working on the brush head.

  • Remove the brush head: Detach the motorized floor head from the wand.
  • Clean the brush roll: Unlock and remove the brush roll. Use scissors to carefully cut away hair, threads, and debris from the roller and end caps.
  • Check bearings: Spin the brush roll by hand. It should rotate freely. If it feels rough or seized, the brush roll assembly should be replaced.
  • Inspect for obstructions: Look inside the brush head housing for lodged objects blocking the roller.
  • Reassemble and test: Reinstall the brush roll, attach the head, and test on low power. If C06 no longer appears, the jam was cleared.
  • If C06 returns immediately with a clean, free-spinning roller: The brush motor or internal PCB is likely faulty. Replace the complete motorized floor head or have it serviced.
