Siemens
Airflow Loss / Partial Blockage
Cordless vacuum has very weak suction, even though the motor runs and there are no error codes.

Possible Causes
Clogged cyclone separator, Dust bin not sealing properly, Worn or missing bin gasket, Micro-blockages in wand or nozzle channels
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Remove the battery before deep cleaning internal air paths.
- 1. Thoroughly clean dust bin and cyclone: Remove the bin and cyclone assembly. Disassemble according to the Siemens manual. Tap out dust and use a soft brush to clean all cyclone cones and mesh screens.
- 2. Inspect seals and gaskets: Check the rubber gasket around the bin and at the connection to the motor housing. Replace if cracked, flattened, or missing.
- 3. Check wand and nozzle: Shine a light through the wand and nozzle. Use a flexible rod to clear any partial obstructions, especially at bends and joints.
- 4. Verify filter condition: Even if not visibly dirty, heavily loaded filters can restrict airflow. Clean or replace pre-motor and HEPA filters as per Siemens recommendations.
- 5. Test with minimal configuration: Run the vacuum with only the main body and bin (no wand/nozzle). If suction is strong here but weak with accessories, the restriction is in the wand or nozzle.
Persistent weak suction after these steps may indicate internal leaks or a damaged cyclone assembly that should be replaced.
