Possible Causes
Mechanical jam in trigger mechanism, Failed microswitch on handle PCB, Broken trigger return spring, Contamination (dust, liquid) inside switch area
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Remove the battery before working on the handle or trigger.
- 1. Inspect trigger movement: Press and release the trigger multiple times. It should move smoothly and return fully. If it feels sticky, debris may be lodged.
- 2. Clean around trigger: Use a soft brush and a vacuum (another unit) to remove dust around the trigger. If safe, lightly wipe the area with a cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol (avoid soaking).
- 3. Open handle housing: Remove screws from the handle and carefully separate the halves to access the trigger and microswitch.
- 4. Check microswitch: Press the microswitch directly; you should hear a distinct click. If not, the switch is likely defective and should be replaced.
- 5. Inspect spring and linkage: Ensure the trigger return spring is intact and properly seated. Replace if broken or deformed.
After reassembly, reinstall the battery and test. If E11 persists, the handle PCB may need replacement.
