Possible Causes
Failed LED strip in floor nozzle, Loose LED connector, Damaged LED driver on nozzle PCB, Broken wire in nozzle harness
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Remove the battery and disconnect the floor nozzle before opening it.
- 1. Open nozzle housing: Remove screws from the underside of the floor head and carefully lift off the cover to expose the LED strip and wiring.
- 2. Check LED connections: Ensure the LED strip connector is firmly seated on the nozzle PCB. Reseat if loose.
- 3. Inspect wiring: Look for pinched or broken wires leading to the LED strip. Repair or replace the harness if damaged.
- 4. Replace LED strip: If the strip shows dark spots or physical damage, replace it with a compatible Siemens LED strip for your nozzle model.
- 5. Replace nozzle PCB: If wiring and LED strip are intact but E16 persists, the LED driver circuit on the nozzle PCB is likely faulty and the PCB should be replaced.
LED faults do not usually affect cleaning performance, but persistent E16 may prevent normal operation on some models.
