Possible Causes

Blocked pressure sensor port, Disconnected sensor hose, Faulty airflow/pressure sensor on main PCB, Severe internal clog in cyclone housing

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Remove the battery before disassembling the dust container or cyclone.

  • 1. Clean bin and cyclone thoroughly: Remove the dust container and cyclone assembly. Wash the bin if allowed by the manual and let it dry completely. Tap the cyclone gently to remove fine dust.
  • 2. Check for hidden clogs: Look into the air path from the cyclone outlet to the motor inlet. Use a flashlight to spot compacted dust and remove it with a flexible brush.
  • 3. Locate sensor port (advanced): Some SilverCrest models have a small hole or tube near the cyclone that leads to a pressure sensor. Ensure it is not blocked by dust. Gently clear it with a soft brush or compressed air (short bursts only).
  • 4. Reset the unit: Reassemble, insert the battery, and hold the power button for several seconds to reset (if supported by your model).

If E10 persists and suction remains low despite a clear airflow path, the internal sensor or main PCB may need replacement.
