E14
SilverCrest Accessory Lighting / LED Circuit Fault

Vacuum shows E14 when using LED floor nozzle; LEDs on nozzle flicker or stay off

Possible Causes

Damaged LED strip in SilverCrest floor nozzle, Broken wiring in nozzle neck, Faulty accessory power output on main PCB, Short circuit in LED driver board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Remove the battery and detach the floor nozzle before inspection.

  • 1. Inspect LED wiring: Look at the neck of the floor nozzle where it pivots. Check for visible damage or pinched wires.
  • 2. Test without LEDs (if possible): Some models allow the nozzle to run even if LEDs fail. If the brush spins but LEDs flicker and E14 appears, the LED circuit is likely shorted.
  • 3. Try another nozzle: If you have a second compatible SilverCrest nozzle, test it. If E14 disappears, replace the original nozzle.
  • 4. Check wand contacts: Ensure the electrical contacts between wand and nozzle are clean and not bent.

LED circuit faults usually require replacement of the entire floor nozzle assembly, as the LED strip and driver are often not serviceable separately.
