Possible Causes

Blocked floor nozzle, Clogged cyclone assembly, Clogged extension tube, Failing main motor drawing excessive current

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn the vacuum off and remove the battery pack before inspecting for blockages.

  • 1. Check floor nozzle: Remove the motorized floor head from the wand. Inspect the air inlet and brush area for hair, threads, or debris. Cut away tangled material with scissors and pull it out.
  • 2. Inspect extension tube: Detach the tube and look through it against a light source. If you see a blockage, push it out gently with a flexible rod or broom handle (do not use sharp metal objects that could damage the tube).
  • 3. Clean cyclone and bin: Remove the dust container and cyclone unit. Empty the bin and tap the cyclone gently to dislodge fine dust. Use a soft brush to clean the cyclone holes.
  • 4. Check filters: Remove the pre-motor and HEPA/post-motor filters. If heavily clogged, wash the washable filter (if labeled as washable) with lukewarm water only and let it dry completely for at least 24 hours. Replace non-washable filters.
  • 5. Test again: Reassemble the vacuum and insert the battery. Run it without the floor nozzle first. If it runs normally without shutting off, reconnect the nozzle and test again. If it still shuts off quickly, the main motor may be failing and drawing too much current.

Persistent E2 after clearing all blockages indicates a likely motor or control PCB fault that should be checked by a professional.
