Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Remove the battery before opening any covers. Do not attempt to run the vacuum with exposed wiring.
- 1. Listen for relay click: Insert the battery and press the power button. If you hear a faint click but the motor does not spin, the control board is trying to start the motor but detects a fault.
- 2. Visual inspection (advanced users): If you are comfortable and the warranty has expired, remove the screws on the handheld unit to access the motor compartment. Check that the motor’s wiring connector is firmly seated on the main PCB and that no wires are broken or burnt.
- 3. Smell for burning: A burnt smell near the motor area often indicates motor failure.
- 4. Do not bypass safety: Do not attempt to bypass the control board or apply power directly to the motor unless you are a qualified technician.
In most cases, E8 requires replacement of the main suction motor assembly and possibly the main control PCB. This is a complex repair best handled by a service center.
