Unpleasant musty or sour smell from exhaust air

Possible Causes
Wet filters not fully dried, Dust bin washed but reassembled damp, Organic debris trapped in cyclone, Long-term use without filter replacement
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Remove the battery before cleaning. Avoid inhaling dust directly.
- 1. Remove and inspect filters: If filters smell musty or appear discolored, replace them. Washable filters must be dried for at least 24 hours before reuse.
- 2. Clean dust bin and cyclone: If allowed by the manual, wash the bin and cyclone with mild soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
- 3. Run briefly outdoors: After reassembly with dry components, run the vacuum outdoors for a few minutes to clear residual odor.
Persistent odor after thorough cleaning may require replacing filters and, in severe cases, the dust container.
