Possible Causes
Clogged cyclone assembly, Blocked extension tube, Blocked floor nozzle air channel, Severely clogged pre-motor filter
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Remove the battery before clearing blockages.
- 1. Empty and clean dust bin: Remove the bin, empty it, and wipe it with a dry cloth. Ensure the cyclone shroud is free of dust buildup.
- 2. Inspect cyclone: Remove the cyclone unit and tap it gently over a bin to dislodge fine dust. Use a soft brush to clean the perforations.
- 3. Check extension tube: Detach the tube and look through it. Push out any blockage with a flexible rod.
- 4. Clean floor nozzle: Remove the nozzle and inspect the air path. Remove any debris or hair clumps.
- 5. Service filters: Remove the pre-motor filter and HEPA filter. Tap gently to remove dust. Wash only if labeled washable and dry completely before reinstalling.
After reassembly, test suction on both low and high power. If suction is still weak, internal seals or the motor may be worn.
