Possible Causes
Broken wire in wand harness, Loose connector at wand ends, Worn pivot contacts in nozzle neck, Cracked solder joints on nozzle PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Remove the battery before inspecting electrical connections.
- 1. Isolate the issue: Run the vacuum with only the handheld unit. If it is stable, attach the wand and test again while gently moving it.
- 2. Wiggle test: While running, gently flex the wand and rotate the nozzle. If the vacuum cuts out, the wiring in that section is suspect.
- 3. Inspect connectors: Check the electrical contacts at both ends of the wand and at the nozzle. Clean and ensure they are not loose.
Damaged wiring harnesses or pivot contacts usually require replacement of the wand or nozzle assembly.
