Possible Causes
Aged Li-ion cells in SilverCrest battery pack, Frequent deep discharges, High-temperature storage, Manufacturing defect in battery pack
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Do not open the battery pack.
- 1. Fully charge: Charge the battery until the charger indicates full. Leave it on the charger for an extra 30 minutes.
- 2. Test runtime: Use the vacuum continuously on low power and time the runtime. Compare with the original specification in the manual.
- 3. Try eco mode: If available, use eco mode to see if runtime improves significantly. Very short runtime in all modes indicates a worn battery.
- 4. Replace battery: If runtime is much lower than specified (e.g., less than 30–40% of original), purchase a compatible SilverCrest replacement battery pack.
