Possible Causes
Partially blocked airflow, Severely clogged filters, Overheating motor, Weak battery voltage sag
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Remove the battery before cleaning or disassembly.
- 1. Clean all filters: Remove pre-motor and HEPA filters. Tap out dust and wash if allowed. Dry completely.
- 2. Clear blockages: Check floor nozzle, wand, and cyclone for obstructions.
- 3. Test without accessories: Run the vacuum with only the main body (no wand or nozzle). If it runs longer, the issue is likely in an accessory.
- 4. Test with another battery: If available, try a different SilverCrest battery. If the problem disappears, the original battery is weak.
If the unit still stops quickly with clean filters and good airflow, the motor or control board may be failing.
