Possible Causes
Bent charging contacts on dock, Loose wall mounting of dock, Worn contact pads on vacuum, Debris on contacts
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the dock from mains before adjusting or cleaning.
- 1. Check dock mounting: Ensure the SilverCrest dock is firmly attached to the wall and not loose or tilted.
- 2. Inspect contacts: Look for bent or recessed metal contacts on the dock and matching pads on the vacuum. Clean with a dry cloth.
- 3. Test seating: Place the vacuum in the dock and gently move it to ensure it sits fully and the charger LED indicates charging.
Replace the dock if contacts are damaged or cannot be aligned properly.
