Possible Causes
Partially blocked airflow causing high load, Weak battery unable to supply peak current, Failing main motor drawing excessive current, Faulty current-sense circuit on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the vacuum and remove the battery before inspection.
- Check for blockages: Verify that the dust bin, filters, wand, and floor head are all clear and clean. Even partial clogs can cause high current draw in MAX mode.
- Test on lower power: Run the vacuum on normal or ECO mode. If it runs normally but fails only on MAX, the battery or motor may be marginal.
- Try a fully charged or different battery: Ensure the battery is fully charged. If available, test with another compatible battery to see if the issue persists.
- Listen for motor strain: A loud, strained, or fluctuating motor sound in MAX mode suggests motor wear.
- Service recommendation: If E13 continues with clear airflow and a good battery, the main motor or control board should be evaluated and replaced by a technician.
