Possible Causes
Dirty or damp filters, Organic debris left in dust bin, Mold growth in cyclone or bin, Pet hair accumulation in brush head
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the vacuum and remove the battery. Avoid inhaling dust directly.
- Thoroughly clean dust bin: Empty and, if allowed by the manual, wash the bin with mild soap and water. Dry completely before reinstalling.
- Clean or replace filters: Wash washable filters and allow to dry 24 hours. Replace non-washable filters if they smell bad.
- Clean brush head: Remove hair and debris from the brush roller and housing. Wipe with a slightly damp cloth and dry fully.
- Prevent recurrence: Empty the bin after each use, especially when picking up pet hair or food debris, and store the vacuum in a dry area.
