Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery before clearing blockages.
- Step 1 – Clear all obvious blockages: Detach the dust bin, wand, and nozzle. Look through each section for clogs. Use a straight, non‑sharp object (like a broom handle) to gently push out any obstructions.
- Step 2 – Deep clean the cyclone: Remove the cyclone assembly from the dust bin. Use a soft brush to clean the cyclone shroud and small holes. Do not immerse the cyclone in water unless the manual explicitly allows it.
- Step 3 – Clean filters: Remove and clean the pre‑motor and HEPA filters as per the manual. Ensure they are completely dry before reinstalling.
- Step 4 – Inspect sensor port (if accessible): Some Toshiba cordless models have a small pressure sensor port near the cyclone outlet. If visible, gently blow air across it or use a dry brush to remove dust (do not poke into the port).
When to call a technician: If E7 persists with clear airflow and clean filters, the airflow sensor or associated circuitry on the main PCB may be defective and require professional replacement.
