Cordless vacuum will not power on, battery LEDs remain off even after charging

Safety first: Disconnect the charger from the wall before inspecting. Do not open the battery pack casing; cells can be hazardous.

• Check outlet and charger: Plug another device into the same outlet to confirm power. Inspect the Xiaomi charger for damage, bent pins, or burnt smell. If available, test with a known-good compatible Xiaomi charger.
• Inspect charging port: Examine the DC charging jack or dock contacts on the vacuum for dust, bent pins, or corrosion. Clean gently with a dry brush or compressed air. Do not use liquids.
• Reseat battery pack: If the model has a removable battery, press the release latch, remove the pack, wait 30 seconds, and reinstall firmly until it clicks. Try powering on again.
• Force wake the BMS: Place the vacuum on the charger and leave it connected for at least 3–4 hours even if LEDs stay off. Some Xiaomi packs slowly recover from deep discharge and then re-enable output.
• Check for LED blink pattern: If the battery LEDs flash briefly and then go off, the BMS may be detecting a fault (over-discharge or cell imbalance). In this case, replacement of the battery pack is usually required.
• Do NOT bypass protection: Never attempt to jump-start or open the lithium battery pack. If the pack remains dead after long charging, replace it with an original Xiaomi battery module.
