Safety first: Turn off the vacuum and remove the battery. Never work on the brush head while it is powered.

• Remove the brush head: Detach the motorized floor head from the wand or main body.
• Access the brushroll: Open the brushroll cover (usually via a latch or coin screw). Slide the brushroll out.
• Clear tangles: Use scissors to carefully cut away hair, threads, and fibers from the brushroll and end caps. Avoid cutting bristles.
• Check end bearings: Spin the brushroll by hand. If it feels rough or seized at the ends, the bearings may be worn and the brushroll should be replaced.
• Inspect for obstructions: Look inside the brush head housing for debris blocking the brush motor or gear train. Remove any foreign objects.
• Reassemble and test: Refit the brushroll and cover, ensuring it is seated correctly. Reattach the head and test. If the brush still does not spin and the error returns, the brush motor or internal PCB is likely faulty and the entire motorized head should be replaced.
